MVP: Dirk (I'd give it to Kobe if the Lakers had won 50 games this season)
ROY: Roy by default (this rookie class has not been impressive)
    MIP: Kevin Martin
6th man: Barbosa in a run-away (sorry Spurs fans, it's not close)
DPOY: Marcus Camby (I'd give it to Gerald Wallace, but there's no way he's winning it)
COY: Sloan (although I think Phil Jackson has had one of his better coaching seasons)
EOY: Bryan Colangelo ... pretty impressive for a mere one year's work

There is no way TD can be DPOY, his defense was completely lackluster for a large chunk of the season.

    6th Man - Barbosa
    ROY - Roy
    MVP - Kobe
    MIP - who really cares?

MVP: Dirk, but Duncan is making a late push
    ROY: Roy
6th-man: Barbosa (was there ever any doubt?)

    G: Kobe
    F: Dirk
    F: Duncan
    C: Camby

    - All-NBA Second Team -

    - All-NBA Defensive First Team -
    G: Bryant

    ROY: Roy
    6th: Barbosa
    MIP: Al Jefferson
    DPOY: Battier
COY: Sloan (just because no coach has ever won twice in a row..)
    EOY: Colangelo in a landslide

    All Rookie (1): G- Roy, G- Foye, F- Gay, F- Bargnani, C- Aldridge
    All Rookie (2): G- Kinsey, G- Morrison, F- Balkman, F- Garbajosa, C- Herrmann

    All Defense (1): G- Billups, G- Battier, F- Marion, F- Bowen, C- Camby
    All Defense (2): G- Artest, G- Harris, F- Duncan, F- Garnett, C- Wallace

All-NBA (1): Nash, Bryant, James, Dirk, Duncan
All-NBA (2): Arenas, Billups, Boozer, Marion, Dwight Howard
All-NBA (3): D. Williams, McGrady, Josh Howard, Bosh, Garnett

the all NBA teams (after the first team) are really hard to pick. It's weird to see Garnett barely make the cut. Carmelo Anthony can't squeeze in either. I wanted to make room for Stoudemire too, but I don't think phoenix had enough of a regular season to warrant taking anyone else off to put him in.

MVP: Dirk. Nash has been brilliant yet again, but I don't accept the idea that a team with Stoudemire, Marion, Barbosa, Diaw, and Bell would completely fall apart without him. Since he and Dirk are the two primary candidates IMO, and Dirk's team has had the better year, I go with ze German.

DPOY: Timmay. He simply does it all. He'll jump the high pick and roll, forcing the ball handler into taking a wider path, thus disrupting the possession. He'll stay tight on his own man, and bring the lumber on plays at the rim. He's the anchor of the #1 scoring defense and #3 field goal percentage defense in the league this year, and he's played that role year after year after year. This is the year the voters take notice.

6th man: Barbosa. Manu is a starter playing a 6th man, and in fact didn't start doing it until relatively recently. My vote goes to the guy who has started each game from the bench all year.

COY: Jeff Van Gundy. Fourth in the West after all the injuries and Bonzi Wells related nonsense gets my vote.

Executive of the Year: Brian Colangelo. Did anyone really think Toronto would turn out to be this good?
