I don't think there's much doubt that Game 1 will be on Sunday.
Game 2 will either be on Tuesday or Wednesday night.
I have been lookin everywhere to find the days n times for games 1 and 2 ..... Dose anyone have any idea when they will be played

Thanks any idea of what time
A friend gave me two tix to Rangers-A's, which is scheduled for 2 pm on Sunday. I can't imagine that ABC would schedule the 1 vs 8 game at that time - I'm guessing Suns/Lakers will get the coveted 2:30 national tv spot.
I suspect that Lebron or Wade gets the ABC slot on Saturday and that Kobe gets the same slot on Sunday.
If the league sticks with its draft schedule, which called for 10:30 p.m. EDT starts on both Saturday and Sunday, two of the three Western Conference series that start in Texas will have very late start times on Saturday and Sunday. I think the league will change the schedule, but a lot of us Texans are going to have to deal with some extraordinarily late start times for the first set of games in the First Round.
The playoffs don't start until Sunday, so there's no way any team plays on Saturday. I'm not sure how many will be played that first Sunday...the logical guess is half of them (4), but that's alot of games for one day.
Anyone else have an idea....how was it done last year?
No they will begin on Saturday. They always have. TNT begins their playoff coverage on Sunday.
The playoffs do begin on Saturday, April 21. THere are 4 games on Saturday and 4 more on Sunday. The Game 2's will be played on Monday (3 games), Tuesday (3 games), and Wednesday (2 games).
There will also be three Game 3's on Thursday (the Monday games, most likely) and three Game 3's on Friday (the Tuesday games, most likely). The other two Game 3's will be mixed in with 2 Game 4's on Saturday (those Game 4's will come from the Thursday night Game 4's). There will then be four Game 4's on Sunday, April 29 (the remaining series that played Thursday and the two that played Friday). And Monday will see the last of the Game 4's and maybe one Game 5.

Im frickin excited already!!!
Mavs will play on Sunday for sure because the Stars are scheduled at the AAC if they make it to a game 6. I Mavs play GS there game will more than likely be the last game of the night on TNT. IF Mavs play Lakers, I can see the NBA moving that up to the ABC 2:30 slot
NBATV? What a in joke, we don't get that free on our satellite like you do with Time Warner ... thanks for screwin over a market, wewt.
I stand corrected. Thanks for the extended schedule...![]()
Game 3 is on 04/26 and 4 is on 04/28. I received notification of those dates a couple of days ago... I will be going to Denver. Woo-hoo!
If game 3 is the 26th then game 2 has to be on Tuesday--
Sun, Tues, Thurs, Sat
Don't worry about the Stars going to 6 games.
dammit!!!![]()
Someone fed you some bad info.
It's not going to be Saturday because Cirque de Soleil has the building for Friday and Saturday and they need all day to set up what I've heard. St. Mary's pushed the city to not interfere with Oysterbake this year because a playoff game last year really ate in to their profits.
edit: Whoops, just noticed the official schedule. :blushes:
Actually, I think that Fiesta eats into the Spurs profits. They can't even sell out game 1.
