Dirk looked better, but still not great. His 1st half was atrocious. If last night was his best game, the Mavs won't win this series.

Dirk is going to win the MVP because he's the best player of the best team. Since that's the definition people are using now, we have to blame the Mavs as a team for sucking in this series.
The actual best player in the NBA is Tim Duncan (puts so much pressure on opposing team on both ends of floor), followed by Nash (can make a scrub look like an offensive beast) and Kobe (crazy good at making bad shots and decent defender).
