No - we convinced 2 college students that the capital was moved to SA

OMG. I have just been laughing so hard. These poor incoming freshmen came to get a schedule fixed. It's a very slow afternoon, so the two kids in the office and I and my coworker were playing 'capitals' - someone would call out a state and we'd guess the capital. Ok, yeah, I know, but it's very slow and we've already exhausted playoff talk.

So I started fixing this girl's schedule and the game continues and one of the kids pokes at me because I'm a Spurs fan and jokes that they've moved the capital of Texas to San Antonio.

The girl was all "Oh my God! For real? When did that happen?" The guys give each other WTF looks and one of them says, "Oh, last week."

I tried to tell her that they were teasing me because I was a Spurs fan, and she gasped and screeched that the Spurs are [their] mortal enemies! I just laughed and they went back to talking about how they moved the capital because they wanted to give San Antonio more tourist attractions and Austin was just too big. She asked about how they would change all the maps and textbooks and her friend piped up that it was all ok, because they change the map every year.



Oh, that was so wrong, but if someone is going to be that gullible . . . even my boss laughed pretty hard.
