Ok, it was a little funny at first but now I'm starting to think that you guys are in deep if you face Golden State. I honestly think they love to kick your ass all over the court and have absolutely no fear of you.
I hope the Mavs don't screw this up. Your beatdown needs to come from the Spurs in the WCF.
GET YOUR TOGETHER, Golden St. is for real. F'n 55-30 at Halftime ?

Yeah--none of those guys are playing.
We'll see you in the WCF. Don't even worry about it. Us Mavs fans aren't.
I'm not worried about anything. GS means business when they play Dallas. Dallas can't just take the approach of "flipping the switch on" in the first round. They better figure out fast how to play with this team, or they're out in the first round. It doesn't matter who SA goes through to get to the championship. Beating a championship caliber team is enough to make a great championship run. So that doesn't include Dallas. A Finals defeat of Miami would be enough.
My prediction is that Dallas will get a couple of calls to go their way though, and win the series.
Why aren't the Mavs trying today? They should have beat Golden State so they would have a chance to play the Clippers instead.
Any Mav fan who isn't at least a little worried at the prospect of facing the Spurs is either in denial or an idiot.
This is such bull . Even the guys on ESPN Radio here in Dallas are openly rooting on the air for Golden State to miss out on the last playoff spot because 'those guys seem to have our number'.Us Mavs fans aren't.
doesn't look like the clippers will win anyway so it's a good thing that we're resting the guys, we play who we play and if we're good enough we'll win
LEONARD says that ESPN Radio in Dallas sucks and that you're a fool if you don't listen to the Ticket nonstop.
^Phoenix up on Clipps by 3.
I like it for the entertainment. Galloway is downright amusing. But yeah--he does have the tendency to be pessimistic about all Dallas teams.
Even if Warriors do slide into the eighth position, it's wishful thinking that GS could beat Dallas in a series. But it would be frikkin hilarious if GS did beat the Mavs!
It would overtake the place of the biggest choke in NBA history - which also involved the Mavs.
ESPN Radio Dallas? yeah, that's a source of serious basketball...stop reaching, those dumb hicks don't know squat about anything, they just like to about all the Dallas sports teams and whatever moves the F.O. makes.
yes, it would be freakin' hilarious, keep hope alive...i'll do the same with the nuggets
Like the Spurs did in '03 against the Suns?
During pre-game the Warriors announcers intimated that Clips may be pissed, and Dunlavey may complain, that Mavs aren't playing their starters because it could effect where Clippers end up in the standings.Clips dropped 4-7 games end of season. They had their chance. They don't have a right to ask anything of ANY team 81 games into the season.
Silly me. I had to listen to the first quarter of the game Sunday on the radio, and 103.3 (ESPN Radio) carries the Mavs games. It was their play by play guys, not the ESPN Radio guys, who were handwringing about the Warriors.
- just let us know if you all need the heimlich maneuver again![]()
I don't count wild buzzer shots in 1 game as making your team the championship contender. Spurs went on the dethrone the defending champion Lakers that year. Phoenix did nothing but take up space in the playoffs that year.
On another note....Phoenix is playing their starters till the end are sucking again. The Rockets beat them and now The Clippers are doing the same.
GS should push them but the Mavs are too good to lose to them they will get it done. Spurs and Mavs are on a collision course, the Suns are going down in the Semis and then it is on in the WCF.
Do you count two losses in the regular season to the Suns, nearly three (decided in OT at the buzzer)? You should because that's what you're doing to the Mavs.
Well it looks like the Clippers are going to win. 99-94 with 34 seconds left.
...Mav fans collectively breathe a sigh of relief.
