Vecsey hates the Spurs. I don't pay attention to that guy anymore.
anyone see that moron peter vecsey on nbatv postgame, he said Pop setup the play for tony to fall down and flop on barbosa to get the foul call. ya pete i'm sure that Pop set that play up exactly like that
Vecsey hates the Spurs. I don't pay attention to that guy anymore.
it appears he is a suns homer because he said the refs gave the suns a ton of calls that decided the game
He picked the Suns to win it all. He can't back off that position even though he knows he is more wrong than right.
Whaddya expect, the idiot is from the Least Coast, where they know NOTHING about championship level basketball and great coaching. Typical take of a dumb ass loudmouth. If you don't believe me, read the quote under my name here about Fidel Castro.
Some people get paid to make asses of themselves.
And he writes garbage for the New York Post. Please.
All I know is that if Pop saw that coming enough to draw it up, he's the greatest coach in the history of sports.
There's a reason he's gone from sideline reporter on NBC to in-studio 'analyst' on NBAtv.
So do Andy Pet te and now Roger Clemens.![]()
i was watching unfortunately, and he called us 'those cagey spurs' and Aldrige was agreeing with him. Then Aldrige called Tim's bag and clothes 'johnny appleseed'
WTF?
Oh geez, he just laughed at Parker's description of getting hurt, and said Parker didn't know what happened.
I know he's a dumbass, but come on.
NBC fired that in moron back in the day for a reason. He is THE LEAST credible basketball writer.
peter vescey is pathetic
and to think it was only last night that vescey was arguing with some other analyst about how great the spurs were![]()

I met David Aldridge on the Riverwalk before Game 1 of the 2005 Finals. Very nice guy. I was kind of disappointed when his ass got fired by ESPN. He's one of the few mainstream journalist's whose writing I actually sought to read.
Vecsey is sippin' some serious haterade.
"Give him credit, he's gotten smarter as a player, like when he flopped and got that call on Barbosa at the end"
That was a foul by Barbosa. I can't believe he's spewing this crap.
Heard that. How anyone could look at that play and not acknowledge that Barbosa pushed Parker is beyond me. Since Parker fell to the ground and couldn't receive the inbounds pass, it had to be called. And it was called correctly.
I have no idea why Vecsey is so bitter.
Anyone remember the NBA on NBC?
bwahahahahahaha
vescey is criticizing steve nash for not stiching himself up
wow
nba needs to fire his ass asap
Jesus, this guy is a in' moron...how does he still have a job??!?!
There's a lot of groupthink in the media about how this was a horrible call. es need to watch the play themselves and figure it out.
