biggest star without a ring.
did yall hear mike tirico's intro to the nets-cavs series just now? Ummmmmmm, thanks.......
biggest star without a ring.
Rings >>>>>>>>> NBA pimped star-boys
Someone send 911 to ducks house!
What's incorrect about that? I'd take issue if they said that he was the best player left, but he's certainly the biggest name from an NBA hype, jersey sales standpoint, isn't he?
To me Lebron has put up phenominal stats and deserves credit for making Cleveland a playoff mainstay. However, I still don't like Lebron in the clutch and find it disrespectful if not ignorant as to overlook proven playoff winners like Tim Duncan. Either Tirico knows less about basketball than he thinks or maybe its that he isn't from San Antonio. Whatever. His opinion means as much to me as the beery toilet water I just flushed.

Self-fulfilling prophecy forum.
Exactly. Biggest star is not the same as best player, or more clutch, or more dominant, etc.
hahha i saw that and knew right away someone would make a thread about it.![]()
Tirico is terrible. ABC's whole basketball presentation is just awful. TNT is the best hands down.
he actually said that? that's plain re ed.
he IS making a whole load more money than any of the other players in the league that have rings so i really really doubt he cares deep down inside
Um, Duncan. You probably might want to through in Manu and Parker.
Get ready. If the Spurs make it to the Finals, ABC will say that Eva Longoria is the biggest star left in the playoffs.
LeBron was the biggest star still alive when the playoffs started. Didn't you see him on ABC every Sunday?
I think for everyone who follows the nba didnt take that comment seriously (in terms of talent), but for the millions watching who dont know the players and teams, they probably associate 'biggest star' as being the best player in the nba left, which really irked me.
