Cornbread dressing all the way....
sounds more like what's in your toilet!!!
Kori your going to have to consolidate some of these questions.![]()
Cornbread
Bread (yes, I use both)
Sausage (with sage)
Chopped giblets
Onions
Celery
Bell pepper
Salt
Pepper
Sage
Bay leaves
Turkey broth (from boiling giblets)
Oysters
That sounds like how my mom makes it...but she uses the Pepperidge Farms seasoned cornbread crumbs....it's unreal.![]()
That's what I use...and the Pepperidge Farms seasoned regular bread crumbs...
I do two parts...the cornbread/celery/onion/pepper/butter/sage/broth dressing and then a seperate "dressing gravy" that starts with a roux of butter/pan drippings and flour then add cooked diced giblets and broth to the right consistency...
don't like stuffing.
load up on bird, mash, and yes....corn.![]()
Don't like stuffing?!?!?
Get a rope...

now that, i'd try.
i'm afraid to ask what "essence" you talkin about em.
I can't cook so I take the easy, yet quite tasty, way.
I haven't had a man complain yet...but that may because of what they get for dessert.
