Monostradamus, which you shall all address me as now, will no longer feel the need to prove his tremendous basketball a en any further. After a long series of DEAD ON predictions, one after the other after the other, it's become painfully obvious that I am not only the smartest Mavs fan on this board, but also the most in tune with this team.
This unfortunately is culminating in my Mona Lisa, otherwise known as Spurs In 6. I diagnosed the problems the post-trade Mavs had in March, I stuck to my guns even after they curbstomped heavy compe ion like Minnesota and Golden State, and I delivered what shall be my final prediction on SpursTalk.
It's rather incredible that in my entire SpursTalk existence, only once have I been truly owned. By SpursDynasty of all people, in 2007. I went against better judgement and picked the Mavs over the Warriors. It was my one glaring defeat. I salute you, SpurDynasty, I salute you sir.
I will reiterate that it gives me no pleasure to be so right about the Dallas Mavericks. I wish they'd prove me wrong more. I wish they'd make me look like the biggest fool on the planet. Unfortunately, my wishes came up as empty as the Mavs' basket in the 3rd quarter last night.
So as we all approach the coming zero hour, I am filled with bittersweet emotions. It's been a great run, and I'm sure Monostradamus could continue accurately charting the unstable course Cuban and Donnie will surely have this team on. But all good things must come to an end.
In the event of my retirement, all official Mav Krew members will have first dibs on all my trolls. Any trolls left untouched after that will go to the general public.

All true. Gerald Green has T-Mac talent which thus far has gone untapped. If the Mavericks would have given him a fair shot he might have made a breakthrough in Dallas where a legit 2 guard is one of their needs.

Yeah, he has otherworldly talent, but it's not a surprise that like the Celtics, Wolves and Rockets before them, they gave up on him. It takes more than talent to succeed in the NBA. Talent is necessary, but not sufficient. Green's not a bad kid, but he IS a space cadet.
The most cynical, pessimistic worldview is saying Dallas couldn't have beaten Phoenix or Portland in this year's playoffs.
Green was given a chance, he just blew. , he even received playoff minutes (and sucked accordingly)
