Does anyone here know how I can get rid of this creepy little animal that Is wondering around my yard?

If you have a dog, send your dog outside. He/she will likely deal with your problem as long as the 'Possums are reachable (not on roof or in tree). Since they are nocturnal animals, they probably show themselves at night - right? Barking may wake your neighbors though.

If that is not your preferred method of dealing with the issue and would like a less aggressive, less immediate method, another choice would be to call the San Antonio Animal Care Center. They are supposed to be able to remove live animals (210) 207-6660.

Call a pest control company that deals with animals. They will trap them for you. You can trap them yourself if you want to. There is nothing illegal about killing them, but they can be trapped and relocated. In some parts they they're known to make a good stew.
