Anyone recommend a Dentist? Anyone know what a root canal and crown are going for nowadays with insurance? Its been a while.

those prices are minus insurance......... also depends on the type of crown u want....... so call your insurance and ask them what it will cost u

Wow is that what you charge with insurance? I cant really ask my insurance what it will cost because each Dentist charges different.
but your insurance will tell you exactly what percentage you have to pay....... so if you can do math you should be able to figure it out

I know my percentage is and i know i can do the math. I'm assuming everybody pays the same % so thats why i'm asking what people here have paid and if they can recommend someone. Since it will be different from dentist to dentist.
I had my dentist in Plano, but haven't bothered with one here since I moved back. My kids have a great one, wish they did adults. Maybe I'll just ask them for one.

I don't know how much a root canal cost but I went to the dentist yesterday and paid 63.00 for a filling plus 20.00 extra because I like the white porcelain filling. We get free dental insurance at our work and it's pretty good can't complain.
Thanks, yeah i believe thats what i pay 50% on everything besides your normal checkup.
