The Heat shouldn't feel too badly. Wade was nowhere near 100% and there were too many distractions within the team this season for them to just "turn it on" when the postseason came.
Shaq wanted more vacation time than Kobe. It's in his contract.

He should have known better........ But that won't stop him from doing it again, some just never learn from their previous mistakes............

Lets see if Riley makes changes this summer to the team. I get the impression that other than Wade and Shaq and Zo no one on that roster is a safe bet to return next season.

They had some bad luck with injuries and their coach even missed time on the bench!!! I think the heat will probably suck next year too. I don't look for Wade to play but maybe 2/3 of the season next year....and Shaq is getting old and fat.
He missed time because Wade was injured. Riley always quits on them when there is adversity. He quit when they were bad, Van Gundy made them better, and Riley had him quit. Wade got hurt...Riley got his hip replacement surgury.
