I'm not trying to be snarky, but you might want to try a standalone media player like MPlayer.

And based on the file types that you're playing, checking for updated codecs.
This is driving me crazy so I'm hoping someone can help.
I have Windows XP and am using Window Media Player 11. Whenever there is streaming video (for example, on the front page of Spurs.com or NBA.com's broadband videos) I can hear audio but all I see is a green screen where the video should be.
I did a search and found a patch that should fix it (I thought), but it didn't.
I can't find anything in Window's help files.
Any suggestions?

The vids are embedded in the websites and are looking for Windows Media, not sure a standalone media player is going to help with that.
I checked for updated codecs, everything is current.
firefox or ie?

Use the All-in-one Code pack. From the site posted above me.

Ooooh, that's digusting!
I'm trying to see the live video-casts from Spurs.com during the games and the NBA.com broadband videos.
I downloaded the All-in-one codecs from the site and now sometimes the screen is green, sometimes it's white.
But still no video.![]()
Try right clicking on the green screen in the embedded movie and click options then on Video Acceleration go from Max to None.
For Windows Media Player 11 click Tools > Options > Performance Tab > then Video Acceleration to none.
If you pull up NBA Broadband video, you can't right-click on it so that didn't do anything ...
So I opened up Windows Media Player and into the tool option, the Video Acceleration was grayed out so I couldn't change it! I clicked to 'restore defaults', that made the Video Acceleration active and I changed it to none.
Long story less long - IT WORKED!!! Thank you E20!!!
Next time your in town, go to a Kori GTG so we can meet you!
I've been to several GTG's and have met a lot of the people on here. My next trip is to Utah for Game 3 though.
