Farmers Markets

Does anyone here go to farmers markets around SA? I want to start going to them but would like a better idea of the best ones to go to, along with when and where they are.

Weird! I just got back from the farmers' market. But I live in San Marcos, so I can't answer your question. I just bought a pint of amazing blackberries, and I have no clue what to do with them. I also bought a basil plant and an oregano plant. Here's hoping I don't kill them!

I believe the one in SA (downtown) is open everyday...They just started one in Schertz at the city park. Not a lot yet but more to come soon..

There is one off of Bitters, but I can't remember the name of the little shopping complex they have it at. It's between Blanco and West... there's a little complex of artsy shops and I think there's a tea room as well. I've seen signs for a farmers market on the weekends.

I lived in Los Angeles for 17 years. There's very few hillbillies there, but there's a whole of a lot of city people at the Farmer's Market.
