I just recently spent time in Canada for a buddy's bachelor party and subsequent wedding. The Candian ballet (strip clubs) are awesome. Full nude and alcohol, plus the one I went to had no covercharge, and cheap drinks to boot. When I went back for the wedding, we were told (jokingly) that you could have an open container in a car, as long as you weren't driving. Well, we stopped at the Beer Store (beer and liquor are sold in seperate stores in Canada) and picked upa six pack. After the wedding rehearsal and dinner, we took the groom out for his last night of freedom, a few bars and a few drinks later, we made a wrong turn(if we had gone right instead of left we would've wound up at our hotel) and ran into a DUI roadblock. They (the police) see our cooler and empty cans a tell us to pull over. The driver blew clean (he had been drinking a little, but he is also 6'8" so the alcohol had almost no effect) but my other friend owned up for having the beer and was cited $125 Canandian for open containers. Fun times.

In Ontario, smoking in any public place is outlawed, you can go into a strip club, casino, and the thrashiest bar you can find and come out smelling like you walked out of the laundry room.

There is no probabe cause needed to detain and search any person or car in Ontario as well, so you have to be extra careful if you are up to no good.

Canadians are some of the nicest people I've ever met, and they know how to procreate absolutley gorgeous women.

I went to Canada three 2.5 years ago. Was my first time at a bar. Tried all the fruity drinks, I think I had an 80$ tab. Got completly smashed. I remember taking my top of in a cage at some bar . Then throwing up all over our hotel room....my friends got a new room for the next two nights and I had to pay by myself for it. So.....that was my experience.
