I dont usually post a lot here but i do read all your comments guys. I was just wondering if you think the NBA has ever seen a big three as the spurs have right now, lead by Tim, Tony and Manu. I dont want to forget the role of bruce bowen which has been HUGE but i just try to count on the offense role rather than the defensive one which wins championships by the way.

Well I bet our big 3 can hang with anybody. They've got the rings to prove it....
Magic Johnson, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, James Worthy
Larry Bird, Kevin McHale, Robert Parrish
Moses Malone, Julius Erving, Andrew Toney
Magic Johnson, Karem Abdul-Jabbar, Jamaal Wilkes
John Havlicek, Dave Cowens, Jo Jo White
Walt Frazier, Dave DeBusschere, Bill Bradley, Willis Reed, Earl Monroe
Jerry West, Wilt Chamberlain, Gail Goodrich
Wilt Chamberlain, Hal Greer, Billy Cunningham
Bill Russell, John Havlicek, Sam Jones
Bird/McHale/Parrish
Magic/Worthy/Kareem
Baylor/Chamberlain/West
those are 3.
Baylor/Wilt/West never won a le.
Really, most of the teams from the 80´s and before have a bigger three, simply because of how much more the talent was concentrated back then.
amare, shawn marion, and nash.

Rough! JO JO! I wish we had a player with a name like that.
vince, jason kidd, jefferson![]()
I think after winning a championship we could count them as a big three, i think what makes you valuable and important is to see how far they made it, if you win or you just will be remembered as a regular good big three.
cant believe noone mentioned Jordan/Pippen/Rodman
LeBron, a hobo, and Booby.
Rodman would be "the Bowen" in that team.
It should be Jordan/Pippen/Kukoc...or Kerr...or Harper...or Longley....or anyone else open for a shot.
Kidd, Jackson, Mashburn
Nash, Nowtisky, Finley
Hardaway, Mullin, Richmond
Drexler, Barkley, Olajuwon
Cassell, Allen, Robinson
Price, Nance, Daugherty
Porter, Drexler, Duckworth
Payton, Schremf, Kemp
Grand total ZERO rings = <Parker, Ginobili, Duncan
Stockton, Malone, Hornacek?
Jordan Pippen Grant
Jordan Pippen Rodman
Isaih Thomas, Joe D, and Rodman
Russell, Cousy, S.Jones
Big whop -- "...teammates that united for two great seasons with the Houston Rockets - 1996-97, when they made it all the way to the Western Conference Finals against the Utah Jazz; and 1997-98, when they lost a tough 5-game first-round series to those same Jazz. In a unique pose that exudes confidence and greatness..." yeah and no ing rings.
