Im lazy. That's my excuse.
There were maybe 40,000 in the Alamo Dome tonight. In '05, there were probably almost 60,000. At one point, Brent asked them to turn up the house lights so they could thank the crowd and they refused. I'm sure the players would have been horrified to see barely over half capacity.
Im lazy. That's my excuse.
Two words ...
Fathers Day.
I went to the river parade and then went home because I thought it would be full already, since it opened at 5pm. Guess I was wrong.
o calm down, i though it was still great, it sucks that on this day there is still downers
I was about to type that but you did already.
I wanted to go to the river parade and alamodome rally but I didn't want to go by myself. My friends were all hanging with their dads.
First off, you're going to need to change that avatar. I myself am going to have to take more photos of the trophy case because mine are outdated now. Damn Spurs are their le winning ways.![]()
Second, why is everyone trying to be negative on this glorious day. It was my first Father's Day and my 25th birthday is in 3 days. I had my son, I had my girl and I had my team celebrating another le. What could be better than that?
No time to be negative. Just enjoy the moment.
I was at the sold out Kenny Chesney show....![]()
I'd been there if I didn't live 2 1/2 hours away, I was just lucky to go to the parade.
i'm in oceanside, ca. but i watched it outside on my laptop while i was barbequeing dinner for the fam. i felt so space-aged for a moment.
why go when you can chill at home and watch it on tv?
i wish i made it to that.
i think it was fatehrs day, they should of done it on saturday?
WHO CARES
WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS!
I was there with my whole family but I still don't get why they didn't have it Saturday afternoon. It would have been a lot more family friendly.
i am 3000 miles away! i was there in 2005 so that leave 19,999 un accounted for.
Honestly, it wasn't really worth it. The whole celebration at the Dome wasn't very good this year.
Take that back!!!
I really wish I'm in San Antonio
..They obviously need to move the whole celebration thingy to Golden state...
I really love the Spurs and all, but it wasn't like 2005. It was Bruce yammering forever and him introducing people...and that was basically it.
Hey, everyone complains about the bandwagon fans anyway, we should be glad they didn't go.
yea, I wasn't too hip on Bruce's presentation, but I still tried to go. Unfortunately I couldn't get off of work because of .........Father's Day.
Should've given away free T-shirts.
Wait all that time so Bowen can drone on while the Spurs just sit there
...they move the $5 seats to the front-row and the Spurs don't want to turn the lights on....anyone surprised?
You can blame the Silver Stars. Spurs organization did not want to exclude the 18 fans that had tickets for the stars game.
