I usually feed my tarantula's grasshoppers with lit fireworks tied to them.... they love them for about 2 seconds....
The kaleidescope of colors is awesome after they eat.... but then I have to find more tarantula's and grasshoppers.

I had a scorpion on my foot the other night it was storming. I felt it crawling on my foot and I looked down. I kicked it off of me and stepped on it.
