If Big Baby is sitting there at 33 do you think about taking him? One thing that makes him a possible good Spur is he has a high basketball IQ.

But other than that, nothing else really screams future Spur.

I think you have to draft him at 33 just to see him have hot dog eating contests with Jackie Butler.

The sight of Glen Davis and Jackie Butler bumpin' bellies in practice would be an object lesson in the myth of "small ball."

Not sure. I'd rather have Scola, who is stacked in front of him. I don't see Davis making a good fit on this team. His ball handling and outside shooting aren't what we need from a PF.

this dude is good only because u cant teach his size. Is a good presence down low.

in 3 years, he will start contributing heavily. I see him like a Robert Trayler without the drugs.

Yes, he accidentally dropped a 20-pound case of Ding Dongs while trying to carry a ham, but he immediately picked it up and continued on his way.

    Some quotes from his blog:

    1) I'm in San Antonio on Friday, and that would be a nice spot. It would excite me to be around those guys. They're the definition of a team. And just to be around those star players like Tony, Tim ... Ginobili. Just to be with them and have that championship mindset with those guys, it would be a great start.

And I know Pop is pretty strict, but I would follow the rules, basically. That's it. I would definitely want to be in a place where I could be who I am, but there are times and places to pick your spots. I know there is some humor in the guy ... there's gotta be some.

    2) I worked out today for the Spurs, and it worked out pretty good. I didn't shoot that great today. I know I can shoot, but as far as competing, I competed pretty well against Jermareo Davidson and Stephane Lasme ... I played against some good players and ready for this process to be over with. All these workouts are crazy.

Physically, it's exhausting, but mentally, you're willing to do anything. But physically, your body ... when you're body goes, your mind goes. But my mind is strong, but my body's a little weary. Mentally, I was into it, but physically, my legs and my shot wasn't falling today. But, altogether, I had a good workout.

And I've worked out against so many guys, but Stephane is a guy who I didn't think who could do what he does, but today he really shocked me. I was like, "Wow, this guy can play."

Like I said earlier, it was cool to be in San Antonio and to be in that championship atmosphere.

When Almond wrote his own piece for TrueHoop, I was impressed. This blog...not so impressive. Not saying you have to be a genius to play ball, but this makes him sound like a 5th grader.

Most fan mocks still have him stewing in the 2nd round but word is, like BtB says above, he'll be gone in the 1st. His NCAA stats are really nice and he has an interesting skill set - good ball handler, good shooter - that may translate well into the NBA. He was hurt by bad performances in the Final Four last year, and his team wasn't great this year, but on the Spurs he wouldn't be asked to carry any scoring burden at all, just pick and pop, hit midrange shots, etc. He averaged over 10 boards per game last year and for his career averaged over 1 steal and 1 block a game in each season, a good sign of mobility and knowing the game.

Interesting that the Spurs brought him in.

    I think the same
    this guy is intriguing me
i don't find a lot of videos of his highlights and i didn't watch a game of LSU so it's difficult for me to have an opinion about him
if someone have a link to some highlights .....
