    Easy. Look for a program called Sharepod. It's freeware and pretty stable. Download it, and put it on your iPod. Enable your iPod for hard drive use. Plug it in, open the ipod (through Windows Explorer). Then open up the Sharepod.exe

    Oh, and if your friend is using a Mac, download the program called senuti

    For Mac - I like the program ipoddisk better than Senuti. But, just preference, as they both work well. IPodDisk makes it another folder, or external drive - so you just drag and drop like you would with any other folder in finder.
