After taking Samanic is there any player You’d have preferred to take that was still available when they took Keldon Johnson at 29.

I’m going with the very high upside but probably more development time Kevin Porter.

Nassir Little man. I’m hoping there’s a character or work ethic flaw that Pop and the crew saw

Kevin porter for the upside. I understand that KJ is a better fit for the current squad though.

How about cocaine and snitching? Is that enough of a flaw?

A bigger flaw -- Little was gone at #29.

Porter's athleticism and potential and its not even close. I wish Pop would get over himself in not drafting young African Americans with some "issues".

I wanted Kevin Porter Jr. due to his upside but I don't mind Kevin Johnson though as a potential role player. Let's just hope that Lonnie Walker IV will turn into a very good player.

Can you give us any examples of PATFO drafting any non-African Americans with known "issues"? No. So put that idea to rest.

If their draft discipline bothers you that much, you really should find another team to follow. I don't see them changing directions any time soon.

We need a bruiser to backup Poeltl against Davis, Jokic, Town, Porzingis, Capela. Fernando, Claxton? Unless they’re bringing down Milutinov

I was hoping for either KJ, Okpala, or Roby. Leaning towards Johnson.

I really wanted Claxton, but after we took Samanic i thought they would be too similar.

That's probably the best thing in this organization: trying to get employees of the highest standing, from top to bottom. And when a mistake happens (Stephen J) they cut the roots pretty quickly.

Yes, Nic Claxton. I don’t know why the Spurs don’t buy one of these early 2nd rounders that are FS.

I will go with claxton. Other than that i’m Pretty satisfied by Johnson. He could become a legit rotation player.

I actually really liked the Keldon Johnson pick, was surprised he fell to 29. Wouldn't have been mad if we had picked him at 19.

I would've loved Claxton too, but I'm warming up towards the Keldon Johnson pick. One thing about that kid, he's a gym rat. He works hard to improve and Spurs always look for these type of rookies, because those are the ones that develop into great players

I lost interest in our pick after Sekou and Okeke were taken just before 19. Was expecting we'd settle for a soft Euro after the interesting guys were taken.

I liked Roby because he looked to have all the tools we neede (wingspan, defense, athleticism and a fixable outside shot)...but he was probably easy to get also just buying a second in the 40 range...sorry they didn't do that but considering he's been repeatedly scouted pre draft our FO and coaching staff probably valued him not worth of spending some little money...so I have to trust their judgement more than mine...
