    the cowboys are the yankees and lakers. espn will drill us into the gound with this ratings bull propoganda.....and frankly I hate it already. the cowboys just aren't the cowboys I remember. in the 70's to the mid 80's(even the early 90's). I can't remember such obvoius media bias toward these teams.
    the yankees last won the WS in 2000. you would have thought they won last year......it really sucks. I just can't root for the cowboys anymore until the BSPN gets off their jocks.

    How about this cowpig fans. I hate them now and I always have. Their a disgusting organization and they stink of hype and favoritism from head to toe. Any organization that would hire a Terrell Owens has got to be crap. And yes of course they are the darlings of the league and of the networks. I say who gives a ? And then there is their owner. This guy is such a media hungry nut that he cannot stand to be out of the spotlight for more than a day. And that America's team stuff has always been a bunch of bull hype to me. Thank god for Directv's sunday ticket. This way I'm spared having to watch the sorry ass cowpigs every sunday.

    5 Super Bowls and 9 Super Bowl appearances, along with the best playoff winning percentage, makes them pretty worth the hype.

    The Cowboys are talked about for the same reason the Yankees and Lakers are because they are a huge story. Everytime they play, they bring in huge ratings. Everytime they are good, their respective league is at it's best save the MJ era of the 90s in the NBA.

    The Cowboys have been the most successful team in the superbowl era and they aren't going to stay down forever and it FRIGHTENS all of you that this is true. You don't really think the Lakers and Yankees will never win another championship, don't you. Winning franchises don't stay down for long.

    And threadstarter. You probably was never a true Cowboy fan to begin with. If you was, we'd call you a fairweather fan.

    Personally I think the cowboys have always received this much attention. It just seems like more because they have not been succesfull over the last 10 years. The reason they are getting so much now is because the media mostly agrees that they have a talented team top to bottom and have a very good chance of coming out of the NFC, you may not agree with them but that is how they see it.

I'd say that's been down for a long time. And if by some Act of God the Cowboys get past the wild card game, they're still going to get prison raped by the Saints like last season.

    Romo didnt lose that game, Terry Glenn's fumble and the ref overturning a jason Witten 1st down with no evidence lost that game
