Who cares how the season starts?
I only care how it ends
LeBron vs. Wade.
The Spurs overlooked again despite being the Champs??![]()
"After three years, the NBA and ABC wisely concluded the novelty has worn off Shaq vs. Kobe/Heat vs. Lakers on Christmas. Instead, word is the NBA will have the Heat play in Cleveland on Christmas, creating a Dwyane Wade vs. LeBron James matchup.
Though the schedule circulating is tentative, Heat-Cavs is expected to be one of two ABC games that day, a league source said. The Heat is tentatively set to open at home against Detroit on Nov. 1. "

After failing to market the Spurs appropriately during the regular season the same media outlets then balk at the fact that Finals Ratings are low...
Tis' a product of their own doing if you ask me....
Overlooked again? The league ran a Spurs v. Pistons game the last two years on Christmas day as a rematch of the 2005 NBA finals. While that series was compe ive and worth having a rematch, nobody cares to watch the Cavs get smacked around even more in a 2007 finals rematch. Frankly, you have to make it compe ive for people to desire a rematch. Can you blame the league?
spurs might be the other game
it would not shock me to see spurs vs suns
cavs and heat could be a good game very low scoring
yes mommy![]()
I can see a Spurs vs. Suns matchup this Christmas ... what a joy, knowing the Spurs - they'll lose that game.
What does this have to do with the SPurs exactly, except for the thread starter trying to piss off Spur fans?
Are you having a bad day?

Congrats to the Cav’s for making prime time...![]()
I guess this means that the Spurs aren't likely opening against either the Heat or the Pistons and that they're probably not playing the Heat or the Cavs on Christmas Day.
Only 27 other possible opening night opponents.
Good. I'll take championships over Christmas day games every time. Glad the Cavs fan has something to celebrate.
That is going to be one boring game.
Nothing. Pissing off Spurs fans was the entire motive.
Whoop-de-do. It should be Cavs vs. Heat. It will give the Cavs an opponent they are capable of beating. LeSweep and co will just get smacked around by the Spurs once again. At least the annoying ass Suns were compe ive.
I'd rather let our guys celebrate Christmas at home with their families. playing on Christmas, who the wants to watch a ball game on Christmas Day?
Consolation bracket forum.
No one watches basketball on Christmas Day anyway.
Debate over the right forum for this Forum
at the Cavs fan who thinks playing on Christmas Day means something.
Unless there's a Christmas Day Championship trophy I don't know about, I'm not sure why I'm supposed to care.
What a boring matchup. The Heat always beat the Cavs. I want to see great teams over great individuals always.
If it's a double header as usual, the other matchup could be Spurs-Suns/Mavs or Suns vs. Mavs.
