A woman has jumped off of a bridge on the Northwest Side.
The woman is said to have jumped from a bridge near the intersection of eastbound IH-10 and eastbound Loop 410. She reportedly fell into a constuction area.
Early reports indicate the woman was traveling in a car with her brother. When he pulled over, she reportedly jumped out of the car and then off of the bridge.
TransGuide is reporting that the left lane of eastbound IH-10 is closed starting at or near Wurzbach, and the right lane of westbound Loop 410 is closed starting at or near Honeysuckle. Click here to go to TransGuide signs for the area.

that's just great. i remember the guy that through his girlfriend off the Bush Tollway up here in Dallas. I wish there was video.
Why didn't the brother stop her? I am search there are more details, but seems very weird.

I ALMOST tried to take 410-I10 today but for some reason I went another way home.....
I remember maybe 5 years ago there was a guy threatening to jump off the Fred road bridge over 410. They actually stopped all traffic on the freeway, and there were people who had passed the last available exit that were just stuck like Chuck (for hours). Needless to say, some of those people were "encouraging" the jumper to do his thing. That's a tough crowd.
wow, so THAT is why traffic was so bad on my way home. I did see all the police and ambulance too. Crazy!!!
So what does that make now...3 people that have jumped off that new interchange bridge....eeeeep...
