Tough to say "Death Sentence" looks far more serious so it might be the better of the two. They both look bad ass though.

Shoot Em Up with Clive Owen looks like it will be what Smoking Aces should have been, a bad ass action movie with basically gun porn, I really cant wait to see this movie, Owen is a bad ass

Shoot 'em Up. Any movie that has Clive Owen delivering a baby, then cutting it's umbilical cord off by SHOOTING THE DAMN THING OFF in the middle of a gun fight in the middle of a bus station!!!!!!....well, that just gets my vote. Not to mention it has Monica Bellucci.

I guess theres a chance that both suck ass, especially considering who the director of Shoot Em Up is. Im just banking on Clive Owen kicking ass, and all the reviews Ive read about it are great

Well, Fonzie's been waiting a while; the boat's been idling for some time, don't get me wrong. But to me, taking a line from the Movie Critic's Guide To Writing and making a movie le out of it finally got the boat started for me. Surely you can have your crush and still see that the speedboat is on full throttle, right? I mean, some of my favorite Hollywood hotties have been in total loser movies.
Yea Clive Owen is pretty bad ass.
Hollywood has a history of unimaginative les though: Singin' in the Rain? With a scene where someone is...singing in the rain.
Not to excuse crappy les though; this ain't a golden age for movies by any stretch of the imagination. I tend to lean towards the 40's and the 70's for that.

Of the two? Shoot 'Em Up will be seen by me on opening night. Clive Owen + Monica Belucci + lots of guns = yummy x 5,000.
However, American Gangster and No Country for Old Men both look like they could be amazing films. And I'm really ready for the Coen Bros. to undo the bad they did with Intolerable Cruelty and The Ladykillers.
Death Sentence looks alright.
A lot of is coming out.
American Gangster is a movie coming out that Denzel is starring in, set in New York.
There's some other movie coming out with Wahlberg in it that looks good too.

American Gangster will be sweet just because Steven Zaillian wrote it and Ridley Scott is directing it, although I dont really think it will be a "action" movie

Yeah that's the downside. It may be a good movie, but it's more of a conspiracy movie. There won't be much action in it.
