Complete Story Version Suspended NFL player Adam "Pacman" Jones was being sought by police for questioning about a shooting early Monday involving members of his entourage after a fight at an Atlanta strip club.
Jones, a cornerback for the Tennessee ans on suspension following a melee and shooting at a Las Vegas strip club, his group and three other people got into a fight, apparently over a woman, at a club around 4 a.m., officer Ariel Toledo said.
After everyone involved left the strip club - the three people in one car, and Jones and his entourage in three other cars - someone in Jones' group shot at the car, and the others returned fire, Toledo said.
Toledo said Jones was not present when the shots were fired.
"We believe he knows some of his entourage who were involved in the shooting," Toledo said. "On himself, we do not have any charges on him. He wasn't there when the shooting occurred."
One person who was outside the vehicles and not involved in the dispute was injured by debris in the shooting and was treated by emergency medical technicians, Toledo said.
Manny Arora, Jones' attorney, said he was trying to find out what had happened from the police, but he understood Jones was sought only as a witness to the incident.

Authorities have also been investigating what role Jones had in a February shooting outside a Las Vegas club that left a bar employee paralyzed and two other people wounded.
Attorney Robert Langford said no evidence tied Jones to the shooting, but an aide to Clark County District Attorney David Roger said it could take several days to decide if there is enough information to file charges against Jones and two friends.
The Las Vegas allegations were among a series of arrests and encounters with police that led NFL commissioner Roger Goodell to suspend Jones for one season.
Jones agreed last week not to appeal the suspension. The 23-year-old player could be reinstated after 10 games for good behavior if he adheres to conditions set by Goodell and is not arrested again. Missing the entire season would cost him his salary of nearly $1.3 million.

I think he blew the good behavior clause already.

Yeah, the league really went too far by suspending this guy for an entire year.
If he's implicated in the Vegas shooting or for having some role in this (doesn't sound like he did, but he could get Ray Lewis'ed if he obstructs by withholding information) the Commissioner might just cut to the chase and give him a life sentence.
I'm thinking fade to black.
Well the NBA season is over and still no charges in fact stuff they said about him has been proven incorrect. The Biting on a person's leg, the DNA came back as not his. And on this charge o wait there is no charges against him. They are asking for his help to find out who is the shooter.
So can some one please tell my why he was suspended longer than Tank Johnson and Chris Henry??
Tank at least was guilty of gun charges?
I know this is America were you are guilty first then have to prove your innocent.
Look at the Duke kids everyone was like are guilty just like they are on Pacman, and guess what they were innocent.
But that is life in America where if you are someone you are guilty before your are innocent
Pacman wasn't suspended because he's a criminal, he was suspended because he is an consistent embarassment to the NFL, and there's big money at stake.
but he's got street cred.![]()

Pacman to make first TNA appearance Thursday

Adam "Pacman" Jones is entering the world of men in tights wielding metal folding chairs.
The troubled Tennessee ans cornerback, suspended from the NFL for the entire season after numerous run-ins with the law, has signed a contract with Total Nonstop Action Wrestling.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed, the company said Monday.
Jones' first in-ring appearance will be for its "iMPACT!" show on e TV, TNA said. He also will appear in a pay-per-view show Sunday at Universal Studios in Orlando, Fla.
Last week, Jones' agent said the cornerback would not actually be wrestling, but that he might participate with TNA Wrestling in other ways.
TNA spokesman Steven Godfrey said officials could not comment on whether Jones actually will wrestle.
"But he will be involved in a story line," Godfrey said.
Monday, Jones was quoted is USA Today as saying that wrestling is "something to do, to keep me out of the streets while I have my little off-time from my real job, and, I'm a big fan of wrestling, so I wanted to give it a try."
"I think wrestling is a great sport,'' he said, according to the report. "You don't really give [wrestling] much [credit] until you get in [the ring] and try it."
"It will help get my mind off a lot of stuff that I'm going through. It's sort of a way to relieve some stress," he was quoted as saying in USA Today.
In earlier reports on Jones' potential interest in wrestling, agent Michael Huyghue said he is mindful that Jones' NFL contract prohibits non-football activities that could cause injury. He said he had talked with the ans about Jones' plans with TNA.
Jones was suspended for the 2007 season in April for conduct detrimental to the NFL, and he can have his case reviewed after the ans' 10th game, which is Nov. 19 at Denver.
He has been arrested six times since being drafted by the ans in April 2005, including June 22 when he turned himself in on two felony counts of coercion in a Las Vegas strip club fight that left a man paralyzed in a triple shooting.
Last month, the league denied Jones' bid to attend training camp.
When he was suspended, Jones was given several requirements to meet, including devising a community service program that must be approved by the NFL. The league declined to comment Tuesday on whether Jones has come up with such a plan or if it had been approved.
His agent is checking with the registrar at West Virginia University to see if Jones can take courses toward his degree online because he plans to stay in the Jacksonville, Fla., area and work out during his suspension.
Jones won't start losing his $1.3 million salary until the first game checks are issued in September.
