    Rebounds = Elliott

    Clutch = slight edge Ginob's

    pts per game = wash

    defense and iq = Elliot.

    Sean Elliott is an excellent role player, as is Manu Ginobili, but where they differ is the fact that Ginobili can be the main player/star on a team and carry them with leadership, example, and at ude, I'm not saying Elliot doesn't possess any of those qualities, but Ginobili has proven to do that. Put Ginobili on the Hawks and he'd average like 26-29 PPG. Speaking of the Hawks, has Elliott ever scored 24 points in a row?

    Why at 26? Manu is 30.

    guess those wednesday nights at La Catedral Infinita del Archangel Emmanuel Ginobilli has seduced you into all the hype.

    Actually, Jack would have been better on Nowitzki. I recently rewatched the '03 Western Conference Finals and Pop had Jack on Dirk during that series. And I thought Nelli was the genius. He was just copying Pop.

    ginobili is overrated, he is an average player... not a proven winner... he is a flopper and has a big and ugly nose... and he is from a Third World country...

    This message has been posted by a Phoenix Fan....

    While Sean Elliott is one of my favorite players, I remember him as being one of the main reasons the Spurs from 1990-1996 choked in the playoffs. Are some of you forgetting life before Duncan? The early 90's Spurs were just like Phoenix today, great talent, great record in the regular season, unable to win in the playoffs. Sean Elliott redeemed himself in 1999, but during his prime he simply did not play up to potential in the playoffs.
    Manu Ginobili has proven himself to be clutch, clutch and more clutch. Even this year when he struggled at times, he also dominated when it mattered. I would take Manu over Elliott without thinking twice.

    Sean was a great player.

    Manu is a winner on all levels.

    I'd take Manu without having to think about it.

    Sean was a good player(overrated)he was more of a fan favorite like Malik & A.J.
    Ginobili can take over games drive from anywhere on the court not just the baseline.
    Manu should've been MVP of the 2005 finals.

    Manu Ginobili is a cold blooded killer. Sean Elliott was a nice player, a good player but c'mon.....Manu has had some of his biggest games during the playoffs and in must-win situations. Sean never had that same drive to take over games like Manu does.

    Yes, I remember the "Shot" on memorial day but can you remember another one ?

    Sean was a wonderful player with great skills, but....

    No one ever put the ball in Sean's hands in the fourth quarter of crucial games and said "go win this game for us."

    Manu is an assassin.

    What are you, insane? I loved Elliott (note the two "t"s!), but Ginobili is close to the most exciting player I've ever seen, not to mention one of the most clutch, and all the winning he has done at every level.
