    RealGM Staff Report -
The Los Angeles Clippers today waived guard Will Conroy.

In four games played for Los Angeles last season, Conroy averaged 2.0 assists in 8.8 minutes per game. Conroy also tallied 3.0 points and 3.6 assists in five games played for the Clippers’ entry in the 2007 NBA Summer League in Las Vegas.

maybe the spurs can invite him to training camp, a couple of posters here were interested in him last season before he joined the clippers because of his success in the NBDL.

It would be great to have a true point guard at training camp, possibly even give the spurs reason to drop Beno for that PG

    Just my opinion, whats your

It would be nice. He's rumored to be going to Europe. Pooh Jeter OTOH is rumored to be turning down a European offer for a training camp invite to an unnamed NBA team.

I'd definitely have either one at camp. You need twenty freaking players.

Will Conroy is still officially on the roster, but he’s reportedly seen the writing on the wall and is very close to signing with Italian Euroleague squad VidiVici Bologna.

Pooh Jeter likely won't play with Chalon next year. For few days, there has been a rumor saying that he will go in Ukraine but the rumor is now that he has received an offer from a nba team and will try to make a nba roster this year.

Chalon is now looking for another PG and Pooh will likely be in a training camp with a nba team in October.

Which is better, Spanoulis or Will Conroy? Spurstalk boards rend their clothes and gnash their teeth...

Another thread about a player who might just get playing time if there is an injury.

Not surprising. Even with the callup, two seasons in the D-League are about the maximum most players can afford. Can't blame a guy like Conroy for taking guaranteed money that could easily be more than he would even stand to make in the NBA if he made a team. Most of the good point guards from the D-League have already signed deals in Europe. Pooh and Brian Chase are the only ones I can think of that are staying so far.

Pooh has played one year in the D-League and the training camp money will help get him through another should he fail to make an NBA squad.
