4-down

can u guess what mine is
TD-DRob high-low post lob,
OR
Manu side screen n roll in 2005 when he used to split the defenders just about every time.
I also like the side picknroll they ran well all this year where Tim is out near the 3 pt line elbow extended, sets the pick and dives to the rim, while the roller with the ball drives towards the FT line then bounce passes at 90degrees to hit the cutting Timmy. Very nice play that just about always scored last season.
I'm fond of the 4 les in 9 years play, myself.

The Spurs have other plays?
I love the play that they used to run for Sean and still run for Manu where the wing cuts up the lane towards the circle. and if their man tries to beat them to the spot, they slash back down for an easy bounce pass layup. Spurs have been running that for at least 10 years and it still works pretty much every time.
I love the give and go play Parker and Ginobili use where one of them stands by the 3 point line, the other comes slowly up the floor, does a slight hesitation move at the top of the key and cuts to the basket with the perfect bounce pass from the other for the easy layup. They did a few times against the Pistons in 05.![]()
I love those plays when they score on them.
Sending Nash flying - Robert Horry
?Cant believe noone would not mention Wingate to DR allyoop after DR fakes posting up then turns and drives just in time for ally pass from wingate.
speaking of which, wasnt he a D specialist too.
Yoda
yeah, nice call!
They particularly killed the Nuggets with that one (two plays in a row in one game) and used it all playoffs this year too.
Only if the "D" stands for Date rape, with drugs...allegedly
I always recall Willie Anderson who'd be the the one lobbing it up for Dave to throw down back in the day.
Or, the less popular "Knee to the Groin" play by Bruce Bowen.
I can't believe no one has mentioned the isolation play that Bob Bass originally designed for James Silas and then was used to perfection by GG.
Either Silas or Gervin would get the ball above the key with the other four players in a virtual straight line across the base line with two perimeter shooters outside the three point arc and two big men stationed just outside the lane near the basket.
Both Silas and Gervin were virtually unstopable in this set with Silas relying on his deadly pull-up jumper and GG mostly driving to the basket for a finger roll. Both of them were often fouled as well by their hapless defender and the play wound up with three points.
If one of the defenders near the basket tried to help out by double teaming then his man would be open for a pass.
pass the ball to td and gtfo of his way
