i hope it doesn't decide to take a trip up north
I know it's not a big deal to most of you but I'm in Southern California.
And it's actually raining enough to get the ground wet!![]()
Sad that I actually made a thread about it but when you live with no real change in weather a little rain can be fun!
And I mean no offense to anyone living in the parts of the country that have been dealing with floods.
Haven't heard. How north are you?
We actually even got a low rumble of thunder a couple of times.
You're up there.
The farthest north I've lived in California was Sunnyvale, outside San Jose.
The years I spent outside Seattle were the wettest I've lived in.
Didn't get any rain in my area.
It's been overcast for most of the day but haven't seen a drop of percipitation as a result.
Where are you? I'm in Irvine.
We actually got dripped on enough to wet the ground for almost an hour.
Not a rain storm by any stretch of the imagination but more than I've seen in a long time.
Now it's just gray and muggy.
I'm up in Azusa.
If all those clouds were heading north then they should've passed over us by now.
When I left the house last night the moon was hidden behind the clouds, giving the impression that there might be some rain in the future, but unless it hit here before I woke up today, we didn't get any at all.
