Hey guys, I was approached to write an article about this Week 9 matchup because a friend recommended me to do it to his boss, since I am a huge Colts fans. I was wanting to get some perspectives on some of the more knowledgable NFL fans here, and in particular mono since he is a die hard Pats fan.

    Topics I'm interested in covering:

Peyton Manning vs Tom Brady: Brady may be the best right now, but Peyton is hot on his heels and Brady's days as the premier QB in the league might be over if Peyton can put up monster numbers and start shattering more records. Not to mention Peyton will most likely tie Brady in Super Bowl MVPs by the time his career is over, with several chances to eclipse Brady's 3 rings and 2 super bowl MVPs. If these two become the next Montana and Marino rivalry, who will end up on top and why?

Is the Patriots 3-0 (probably 4-0) start a result of them being a legitimate team, dominating opponent after opponent, or should we have suspected them to be blowing teams out. The SD game looked like it was a big statement for the Patriots, but SD is 1-3 and looking hardly like they did last season.

The Colts knocked the Pats out of the playoffs last year. Can they do it again, or are the Pats too good? The Pats offense is no doubt better, but they're still playing the Colts, who have tweaked the offense yet again and the new starters on defense are playing relatively well. Basically, pick who reps the AFC in the Super Bowl and explain how they get there.

That ought to cover 4-5 pages for me. PM me if you want to contribute, or just post here, I thought PM would be a little more organized for me.

All I can say is I dont even know why they play the game.

The Colts and the Pats will win the #1 and #2 seeds this year.

And after that everything is undecided.

You never really know. Peyton played like crap all the way to the AFC le game's final drive of the 2nd. Last year was probably one of the weakest Pats teams since the Super Bowls and the Colts barely managed to win. I'm a little worried since the Pats have found a rhythm and Moss to Brady is looking unstoppable. Honestly week 9 is going to be a defensive game though and through.

I'm hoping Dungy puts the ball in the hands of Lawton and Keith more. They've improved the O a little bit with running the receivers in bunches, putting Marv or Reggie in the same. I think it has a lot to do with nearly everyone on their roster except the Pats has an old players of theirs or sind some in the offseason. Nice trick up Dungy's sleeve but I get the feeling Manning orchestrated most of it and Moorse tweaked it some.

Broncos QB was able o to keep the ball on the gound by handing off to Travis Henry to keep a desperate final drive going, but th

Thying to get the injury info on Marv, Joe, and Bob Sanders right now. Looks like they'll be playing against Tampa. If not, Anthony Gonalzez will have to prove his NFL worth, and Kenton will have to prove he can pick up some gains in the NFL....CFL aint the same ball game. I've got a lot of faith in our team. We might not be dominating, or have the strongest, toughest defenders that rack up stats and move up in the defensive standings, but compared to lat yer I am loving it!

I know we're only going into week 5 after tomorrow, but starting 4-0 is great. We should be able to stay on top of the division easy, unless Vince Young starts going 2005 Rose Bowl on everyone. The dude has tons of talent, but I just don't think he's reached Manning/Brady/Palmer status yet. I'm writing a Peyton vs Brady (about 1/4 of thier football upbringing and 3/4 about their career and continually developing. rivals (though its' the teams more than the QBs in my opinion). I'll be sure to post it when I'm done if you guys want to. Prob going to be the most fun I've had digging up research ever.
