    Im more woried about Smith. . They were playing well before all the injuries struck. For an up and coming team injuries can be the worst thing to happen.

    And they need some good receivers!!!

    from what i just gathered it is a separated shoulder and he could be out 2-3 weeks.... ing injuries..... first lawson, then davis and now smith

    Smith is horrible. He looks almost as bad as JH did. Plus, the WRs aren't helping him out much.

    ahh my bad. i read it as i see another #1 pick for sf in the near future..... smith is garbage, the niners will pick a qb in the first round next year.... i thought after last year dude had grown by leaps and bounds, but hes back to doing stupid again.

    It's a possibility, but I doubt it. Smith will be an anchor for the franchise's neck for at least the next two years. Drafting a QB on the first day is looking like a for sure thing at this point...

    Have you seen 2008 FA QB list? Man, it's gonna be ugly once Romo re-signs in Dallas.

    I'm at a point where I don't even know if Smith is really the problem. The line gives him 0 time to create something. It's sad because last year our O Line was extremely good, but this year they are really showing their age. The thing that makes me mad is that we have a lot of early round picks sitting on the bench behind our current o line. I say let them get some damn playing time!
