Maybe it was b/c Scola can't rebound on a consistant basis, plays no defense, and may have trouble scoring in the post against the likes of J.O., K.G., Bosch, Camby, and what have you.

Those are precisely the reasons that I, for one, wondered how Scola's game would translate to the next level.

I still can't believe so many people have such an issue with them trading him. He has never played a minute in the NBA and do we really think if he was that GREAT overseas that he would not be here?? Some people around here don't like to give the Spurs FO much credit. If he was so good he would be here right now, it is not like his agent wanted 15 mil a year for him.

I believe the Spurs FO knows more than I do.
They did it for a reason.
It's been said it wasn't their first choice to trade him to a Division rival but that's all they had.
If they didn't want him bad enough to do that, I'm OK with it.

People act like he is this great player but the Spurs are just so cheap that is why he is gone. Guys if they thought he was that good then if they had to they just would have traded some players to make room for him on the cap. It is not like bringing him over was this impossible deal for them to get done. He is not a Max money player they were trying to trade for.
