    If already a thread, i can't find.

Does anyone have a link that tells how every player got ousted and where they finished?
I wanted to see how last years Jamie Goldman got ousted, altho I'm sure he doesnt really care after last years rake. He had such an unreal streak of getting good cards in the same hand where opponents got good cards. Ie his 3 Aces would beat 3 Kings, etc.

Most annoying this year Kenny "I'm a genius" Tran. I've been watching on ESPN but haven't seen the episode where he gets run.
Who do you guys find most annoying?

    Q. Is there any limit to what kind and amount of smack a player can vocalize when another player is deciding whether or not to call. Of all people i saw call for a quietdown, Phil Helmuth was getting a dose of his own medicine in a hand and The Poker Pussy, I mean the Poker Brat asked the officials to make one guy quiet down. I can't recall what mouth said, but it was some term for silence. If so, why do not other players ask to have his mouth duct taped shut when he runs his mouth as they are contemplating?

Also playing side bets on a hand. Puss was totally grandstanding in one tournament, doing this each and every hand purely as an attention . Saddest part to me? The one going along with it was Phil Ivey. Until then i thought Ivey had class. Anyhow are these side bets within the rules? Or are they against the rules but never enforced?

I know of a couple of people that have entered the main event and they took the ten grand for the entry and another 45-50 for side bets.

The side action is ridiculous at the Main Event, slot of people make more in side bets then they do at the regular tournament.

Goldman lost before the first day was over I think. His Mother lasted longer than him, he ended up losing a couple of hands and he had no chips to play with so he got really pissed and pushed all in at the wrong time.

most annoying is the Khan. Kenny Tran did make some very nice calls, but they were nowhere near being the best ever.

Ah yes. When he wins a hand, in the words of NFL coach Bud Grant to his players after scoring a touchdown, "act like you've been there before".

KEDA, say what? Side bets are not only allowable but are the rage? How come they never show any at the WSOP?

The new bracelet winner tore through the final table. He had some bad beats in the end but before that he took down player after player.

Strange twist of fate. Jerry ended up winning this because he hit a 4 on the river in day 3 on an all in for all his chips. He had a 10-1 shot to hit that four outer because he needed a 4 to get his straight and damned if he did not hit it.
Ironic that he sucked out to win the whole thing on another suckout on the river when he caught that 6 to get the straight last night.

I really sort of put off off by all this "Jesus, let me get my card" talk. I might be naive but I would think that God has more important things to worry about than letting someone suckout in a poker hand. I think Jerry will do some good with his winnings and God can work through him to help people, and that is great, but he needs to leave Jesus out of poker IMO.

Yeah that was lame asking for help from Jesus. He should run straight to his church and give a great deal of his winnings for all the "help" he got.

I really agree with you on the Jesus talk. Jerry was a great guy to win because he's genuine and humble, but he needed to leave Jesus out of him getting cards. He didn't suckout on the last hand. He was a 53-47 advantage preflop with pocket 8s against AQ suited. The guy hit a Q on the flop, but Jerry ended up getting a straight on the river. He called it preflop so it's not a suckout.

Kenny Tran was his own enemy because he got so overconfident about making "sick calls" that he got ousted by some guy named Balmar who had the Ace high flush and Kenny put him on pocket 7's. He was getting way too y about his play and it ended up hurting him. Surprisingly, Scotty Nyguen (spelling) did the same thing. He was looking great, but started getting mad at players for coming after him and lost his composure.
His intial hand in which he lost a lot of chips was understandable. Scotty hand AQ, Phil Hilm had pocket 5's. Of course flop comes blankQ5 and Hilm doubled up. Scotty was devasted and got knocked out when he went all in with 10 9 suited. He was embarrassed and really upset afterwards.

The AQ hand he lost really put him on tilt because he had enough chips (I think as many as Yang) at the time to survive and wait on a better hand.

I haven't seen ESPN's full coverage of the final table, but I've watched most of the stuff they aired prior to that. I did catch their heads up coverage of the match between Lam and Yang but they only showed the winning hand which was disappointing. I saw the live broadcast and Yang and Lam went at it for a good while before that hand.
