Oh and for the people in the first two dynasty leagues, I'm almost finished setting up the two leagues for the 2007-08 season. Expect the updated league cons utions, draft order, draft date and information about player cuts to be posted tomorrow.

For the 2007-08 season, SpursTalk will be looking to add a third dynasty fantasy basketball league and a regular redraft league. Look at the end of this post for information on the redraft league.
As far as the dynasty league ... the two existing SpursTalk Dynasty Fantasy basketball leagues will be heading into their third season. With those two leagues being full and with a couple people on the waiting list, we've decided to create a third dynasty fantasy basketball league if enough people are interested.
The basic outline of the SpursTalk dynasty leagues is as follows:
-20 teams per league
-$50 buy-in per team, per season
-$450 to the winner, $200 to second, $100 to third, $50 to fourth, $25 to fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth. $100 goes to purchasing the league hosting software.
-You get to keep between 5 and 12 players on your fantasy team from year to year depending on how well you did the previous year
-You have 15 players on your team, 12 of which you start each week. You also have 10 players on your DLeague team. Those players are NBA prospects not currently in the NBA (high-school, college, overseas, etc.)
-League uses CBS Sportsline software
These are some pretty advanced leagues but we've completed two seasons with a total of 40 teams and it's gone pretty smoothly so far. It sounds a little confusing at first but it's pretty fun.
If you are interested, send me a private message and I'll send you more information on joining the SpursTalk Dynasty Fantasy Basketball League 3.
We also might do a regular redraft fantasy basketball league. This will be a standard league hosted on Yahoo with a buy-in of $25. If you are interested in joining the regular redraft league, also send me a private message.

Hm. This makes me want to make one on Yahoo. But I'm exceedingly lazy. Dilemma!
CBS Sportsline is better than Yahoo if only because they don't try to make you pay for that $#%#$%#$%#$%#$%#$@%@$#% stat tracker.
In for the third league BTW.
WOW. I fail.
It's a tradeoff. Sportsline's position assignment sucks (determined before the start of the year and fixed for the entire year).
I always cave and end up paying the $10 or whatever for the stat tracker.
I don't think that's the case anymore.
I'm in for Dynasty #3.
Yep, you're right. Just saw the article alamo posted in the Fantasy League Forum.
Count me in for both leagues..
I'm in the other two leagues, so I don't want to take an opportunity away from someone else, but if there is space and more people are needed, I would join the third league.
make sure you sign up Alamo50 I will drop off the 50.00 Monday.
thanks
They'll just start another league if they run out of space....
Anymore word on these 2 leagues (dynasty and re-draft) being formed?
Will there be an official Spurstalk free fantasy league again this year?
You have 15 players on your team, 12 of which you start each week. You also have 10 players on your DLeague team. Those players are NBA prospects not currently in the NBA (high-school, college, overseas, etc.)
How many of players from the DLeague team do you get to keep after season has ended?
Also, is it the higher you finish (ie 1st-5th) the less players you keep for next year?

You get to keep the number of players from the D-League that are not drafted. The ones that are drafted will count for keepers.
Your statement about the number of keepers to keep is correct.
Is there going to be a money re-draft league goin? My friend wants to get in one.
Yeah, I think I'll just crunch numbers in my yahoo leagues from now on instead of paying $10 every season.
Will there be a free leauge this year made by the chairmans and chairwoman's of the spurstalk?
LJ will handle the basketball league stuff today.
If there is an opening in a redraft money league please PM me
Interested as well.
