It's hard to tell in the pics, because they're a little blurry, but the blue contacts usually look really fake and weird, like the blue is just painted on. There's no depth to the color.

You laugh, but I went out with a guy in college that had one blue (really light) and one brown eye and they were natural. Unfortunately at the time, that was the only thing interesting about him.

My personal opinion (and if this comes out as objectifying, my bad) is that blue eyes makes one's skin look more pale, whereas brown eyes make generally make one look more tan/healthy. There are obvious and plentiful exceptions to this rule, but that is just my general opinion on the subject.

I offer a general opinion, instead of one directed specifically toward you, because before anything else you need to learn to use a camera in a way that does not make you look like a 13 year old on myspace. 99% of people are going to view you from 3+ feet away anyway, so why give us a view from 3 inches? Obviously the opinions on the two perspectives are going to differ. Give us an idea of what the eye color looks like from the distance your peers are going to view you, then the board can more accurately decide if one color is more preferable to the other. Or maybe, from a more natural distance, they both appear the same or make a nominal difference. Apples to apples.

If I were you, I would wear the brown occasionally just for fun.
