How does it work? Is it a series of races and you ac ulate points by end of race standings? How many races are in it?

There are so many races where they keep points to see if you make the top 12. If you do, then those 12 are the only ones able to race for the championship by a points system.

I think Tony Stewart may still have a good chance of making it, but I think its Jeff Gordon's to lose.
