didnt he have a 24 point game against the hawks his rookie season? that got everyone's panties wet.
on the verge of an imminent trade out of SAT.. i was trying to remember ONE time i kinda liked his contribution... this is my take...
2006 playoffs first round game 3 against the Kings.. pretty decent game... played hard did the right passes and got his jumpers in...![]()

He had that game when he started and score 24 or whatever.
He also had a game when he was 16 against Tony Parker, where he dominated![]()
When you said this, I got happy in my pants. Then I just realized you were making a general statement and that no deal was actually being discussed.
Damn you for getting my hopes up! DAMN YOU!
j/k![]()
That was when he started against the Hornets his rookie year. The Slovenian contingent was very proud that day.
in his first NBA start had a career-best 25 points (9-13 FG, 3-3 3PT-FG, 4-5 FT) – along with 4 assists and 4 rebounds – in a career-high 32 minutes vs. New Orleans on 3/14
Those were the days.......... But now we hate/don´t like him too.
Didn't he have a 14-0 run by himself vs the Rockets last year?
Against the Trailblazers last season (one of the times Manu went crazy during the 4th Quarter)... Beno hit back-to-back three 3pt shots with 2 minutes left and then assisted Finley on his. He set the stage for Manu's scoop shot under LaMarcus Aldridge arms....
It is one of the very few positive game performances given by Beno.

Beno's best games are the ones where he doesn't play.
Yep. He helped bring them back from like 21 points down. The only reason he was in the game is because Pop was disgusted with the effort of the starters and pulled them.
Beno then completely failed to make the most of any opportunity gained by that performance.
That sums up Beno's problem since he disappeared in the '05 playoffs.
I always thought he had talent.
But as the years go by it's obvious that he doesn't have the work ethic to go with it.
It's really a shame.
When he started against Orlando when Tony was injured and he scored 26 in 2005 I believe.
The game where he had 10 assists
The first game he suits up for the Timberwolves.
His rookie season he had some game where he had 10 assists off the bench....
I remember it distinctly...
timvp gave him one of the highest grades he's ever given out and said it wasn't possible for a PG to play better than Beno did that night.
Beno is a highly skilled basketball player. In fact, he might have more natural talent than Tony Parker.
And in the first half of his rookie season when he was still in shape from working out all summer trying to get drafted, he was very good. But then he got out of shape by the time the playoffs rolled around and never got back in shape. And really, Beno didn't want to. He lacks heart, determination and every other trait needed to make it in the NBA other than natural talent.
I remember against Denver in the playoffs on the road, he had one game, i think 3, where he came in and hit some huge 3s.
He had so much talent, but such a little brain.
I hate players like that.
Good riddance.
his best game was when against the sons in 05 campaign, when spurs were down by 18pts and pop cleared the bench and got us back into the game...
funny how things have gone downhill since then for the beno
see buddy.... i tolda ya imminent... no kidding man... i kinda foresaw it...![]()

That was the game I thought of too. Pop played Beno the entire overtime-- Beno's best ever and the night Rasho got hurt. I remember it well.
that game against the suns when Tony was at the end of the bench
