Kudos for having one of the top three regular season teams the past three years. I congratulate you. But it drives me nuts hearing you all come up with different links/ stories weekly about how you all got robbed last year. Even though losing Amare and Diaw for game 5 was unfortunate, Game 5 was also the 2nd best game y'all played the entire series. So I don't want to hear it. Game 4 y'all might of won, but if you don't remember the spurs outplayed them the whole damn game( Up by double digits for 42 minutes of the game). What happened to the Spurs game 4 happened to the Suns game 5 WITHOUT AMARE and diaw. Spurs were outplayed the whole game in game 5 and somehow someway the Spurs found the way to win ( Just like the suns did game 4 ).My point is out of the 5 games with amare and diaw available y'all only outplayed us ONE game OUT OF FIVE. It's not a fluke that the Spurs have won 14 of the past 20 meetings in the Nash/ Suns Era. Spurs were the better team, they showed it game 6 and the other 3 games they won and also by the 3 championships they've won the past 5 years. Move on and stop trying to use excuses about the past. Teach Amare how to keep himself out of foul trouble by not making stupid sop ric fouls. Tell Shawn Marion to actually show up for more than one game. Good luck this year, y'all are going to need it.

As a rabid Suns fan and passionate Spurs hater I can honestly say I don't really give a crap about what happened last year. I think it was a huge load of BS, but I'm not even talking about the Suns-Spurs series specifically. I think last season was pretty much garbage all around, and even Spurs fans have got to know that the Finals was a garbage series.

I don't dwell on the "what ifs" and the "we got robbed" stuff either. It wasn't because of the suspensions or Steve Nash's nose that the Suns lost that series, or because of Tim Donaghy.

Spurs fans are quick to say its because the Suns were soft, or that they don't play defense. That's a pantload. The Spurs won last year because they have a sophisticated system in place that I personally don't think can be beaten ... at least the way NBA refs currently call the game in the playoffs. I am among those who thinks the league needs to fix the problem. The game should be called the same way in pre-season as it is in the post-season, unless there's a different rule book. That's what irritates me, the total incompetence and inconsistency by the refs that allows a team like the Spurs to bend the rules and manhandle everyone just cause its the playoffs. Its total BS, its ugly, its technically against the rules,

It must be time for regular-season basketball, Suns trolls are out in force to whine and cry again. It's about time somebody helped out so da_suns_fan wouldn't have to do all the heavy lifting.

The suns had a good chance to win it last season but they had a series of unfortunate events happened
game 1 Nash's nose
game 3 Tim Donaghy officated what a lot of of people callled one of the worst officated games in playoff history(we still don't know what effect he had on the game)
game 5 no amare and no boris(both are dumbasses for leaving the bench) we need to get over it the crying isn't gonna change anything and plus you are making all us suns fans look bad its october lets just worry about staying healthy and having a great season

phx_13: I know its October ... actually almost November. But its' not like the NBA has exactly fixed its current officiating problems. It's not like the problems have gone away just because Stern wants to sweep it all under the rug. The refs flat out suck in the NBA, no matter how many times Stern claims they are the best. How do I make Suns fans look bad by pointing out the obvious? And what if I do think that the NBA fans have the power to do something about it? If enough of us vote with our wallets and enough angry letters are sent to the league offices, who knows what could happen?

What kind of thread is this? You start the thread to complain that Suns fans are complaining too much about last season?

Speaking only for myself, I'll never be "over it," but I've certainly moved on. My own theory is that Spurs fans keep reading national media stories about how the Suns were robbed of a fair chance at the championship last year, and then blame Suns fans that these stories are constantly being written. Maybe the reason those stories keep appearing is not because "Suns fans can't get over it," but simply because most neutral observers think its just a plain fact.

I actually do see more complaining from the media than I do from actual Suns fans. Most of us are ready to just move on and focus on this upcoming season.

If we weren't 4 time NBA champions I would probably still cry about that .4 second shot, not complain-just literally cry. Like a dagger to the heart.

I agree about the horrible inconsistent officiating, but Spurs have to deal with it too.

Its sad that Sun fans believe they are actually en led to a championship. Suns have no idea how to win a damn championship. You think you are en led just cause everyone likes you. well what does it say when all the people in America want you win, and want the Spurs to lose, but the opposite happens? HA! Bull . You all's fan base is quite pathetic, comming up with all these theories and bull about the Spurs. But really you all are just sore losers okay. SORE LOSERS.... Bottome line is the Spurs have been better than the suns each season in this era. But keep making your excuses and whine and we'll keep laughing at you.
