I feel your pain. Our street is where everyone comes in San Marcos, so we have to really stock up.
Well, I just dropped a small fortune. We get a lot kids.
I didn't buy the candy I reeeaaallly wanted because then I'd have to back to the store and buy some more.
I feel your pain. Our street is where everyone comes in San Marcos, so we have to really stock up.
almond joys and bit o honeys are all you need.
and those little caramel dealies.
i tell the kids to shutup and go away and they start crying to their mommy's
wait, i still go trick-or-treating! yayyyyyyyyyyyy!
Blech! I don't want to be known as the house that gives out crappy candy!
I was gonna wait until the day before, but I thought the pickings would be slim. Target was already starting to pull the Halloween candy, which means the Christmas candy is coming out.
I haven't decided yet whether or not I'll even be home on Halloween, so I haven't gotten any candy. Don't imagine I'll get too many kids here, anyway.
However, I do appreciate any excuse to have Smarties, M&Ms, and Reese's (pieces and cups) around the house.
We don't get a lot of kids but I can't buy it until the day before or even the day of.
We'll eat it!
I can't even hide it, I'm as bad as the kids!![]()
My oldest THINKS he can hide his stash from me, but I always find it
I'll get my fill of chocolate. My oldest doesn't like Butterfingers (my fave!), Reese's cups, and can't eat anything with nuts (allergy). My youngest doesn't like Snickers, so I hit the jackpot all around!
airheads are also awesome.
Neither of my kids will go trick or treating this year.
My 17 year old stopped years ago.
My almost 13 year old I tried to convince that this year was really her last shot to go with a group of friends, but she's not interested.
Eat some of the good stuff for me!![]()
I don't mind the older kids going trick-or-treating. But they have to dress up!
Holy moly, remind me not to come to your houseThose are the two candies I hate most in the whole world
![]()
Simple. Don't open the door and turn off the lights.![]()
I agree.
I told my daughter that if she didn't want to do the whole costume thing that we could do face paint and "make" her into something that way.
She seems to be more excited about seeing the little ones and giving out the candy.
Your kids are nuts.I love all those.
I prefer the Mexican equivalent: You-think-you're-all-bad-nows.
Tootsie Rolls FTW
Reese's (pieces and cups) around the house.
Damn Reese's FTW.
Flavored Tootsie Rolls are da bomb!
Those and Dots are the best...ever.
I give the teenagers that come to my house Ramen Noodles.
Granola bars and school supplies: ultimate Halloween kids repellant.
Don't be shocked if they egg your house![]()
I looove Halloween. There are no kids in my sister's neighborhood but there are a ton around here so they are coming here at noon and we will start baking cookies and cupcakes to hand out with the candy. We have these giant inflatable things to put out on the lawn and I have already started downloading the spooky music to play. My nephews are gonna get a real kick out of it this year.
Of course, there are those few house that give out Chic Tracts.
