There used to be one in Ingram Square but that area has changed. I think the Cinemark is still there off the 410 between Bandera and Bab .
New in town. Near UTSA/La Cantera Area.
I've been to the AMCs and even the huge "Palladium" thing.
Pretty sweet.
Now, where are all the cheap dollar theaters in S.A.?
Which ones are your favorite.

Blockbuster and NetFlix have been the death of the dollar theater. It used to be that there was a clear cycle: first run, dollar, video. Now companies rush the DVD out maybe a month or two after first run. I think there might be one or two dollar theaters in all of san antonio.
Dollar theaters were my savior when my kids were little! AND MacDonalds playland!
and my friends bar is right next door too!

Dollar movies rock!! I haven't paid full price for a movie in over a decade.
The only Cinemark left is the Cinemark 16 off of 410 and Evers. The Cinemark 9 at the old McCreless was demolished last week.
Thanks...I'll try to find out about this lone Cinemark.
Hope it's not too much of a dump.
Dollar movies ????
anyone remember the JOY.......
Plans are to build another theater. As for whether it'll be a first run theater or another dollar theater is currently unknown.
cinemark had a dollar cinema here a while back. closest thing now is movies 8 in round rock for like 2 or 3 bucks. dollar movies used to be the !

, the Cinemark dollar movie is still here. It's on loop 410 in Loehmans Village by Bandera Rd.
i saw office space at that cinemark! cracked my friends head open by accident afterwards! uva night!
Is the rumor of an HEB Plus to be built too true?
i can't believe they won a cheap date award in the austin chronicle. the price hikes are getting obscene. luckily everything gets comped for me.
Dinner and a movie all in one, for under $80 is pretty cheap though.
410 and evers is the last one, but I did hear the one at McCreless is going to be rebuilt to what I thought was going to be another $1 theatre.
410 and evers is a dump, but it's the only one left.
, i was referring to austin.
A first run theatre would be nice, but I guess it wouldn't do too well in that area anyways.
A first run is going in at Brooks City-Base.
Yes, that will anchor the new shopping center there.
only thing dollar theatres are used for anymore are for highschoolers to go to when they're skipping and finding the empty one so they can .
im just saying.
So the HEB on Fair and S New Braunfels will be closed down I assume? When is all this supposed to be ready, because it seems the construction just jumped into gear a couple of months ago and they're making progress quick.
The new theater at the former McCreless mall site will be a first run theater. Everything should come online this upcoming summer of 08.
Nice, in addition to the first run at Brooks?
