Is he in decline, or just not that interested? Popovich might have the sense to get him involved with a lob at the rim now and then, instead of freezing him out on one end and expecting him to explode on the other.

But who would you offer to make the $ match?

Ben Wallace just doesn't fit Chicago. In Detroit he had Rasheed and Tay to help cover up his low points, Chicago doesn't have that and Ben is being exposed. Plus he is old and hurt so that doesn't help much. All in all, thats karma for ya, you leave Detroit bad things happen to ya, look at Grant Hill, he was a monster for Detroit but when he left he was a nothing, not even close to what he once was. Hes a good role player now but how long will that last in PHX? Its a curse.

wasnt sayin the spurs should go for it. but hey may be involved in a trade before the deadline. chicago has to do something quick, i think all the trade rumors are hurting this team

If you coached him, would you play him in the fourth quarter?

Ben Wallace is following the Malik Rose road. They are undersized players without a lot of skills and when they start losing their energy, they suck.

yes! no doubt about it. if the bulls want to do well they have to play their best players, he is their best defender and rebounder, bulls are a small team and lack rebounding without him in the lineup. but if they are not going to use him, they gotta move him

malik lost his love for the game, he was so heartbroken when he got traded to new york.i mean its hard to go out every night and do well when you get traded from a championship team to a circus in new york. if he was still in sa he would be our "dirk stopper" not saying he would stop dirk but he would be a better option than eslon or oberto.

I agree. They are also both complimentary players that become much more productive on an elite team, which Chicago is not.
