Maybe Bale is pressed for cash. Maybe he thinks by sheer acting ability alone he can save any film from any hack director's taint. Maybe its an untrue rumor. I sure hope so.

Ain't It Cool has actually been pretty good in the rumor department. They were the first to break the rumor about McG, and that stuck.
