Posthumous book claims Ford knew of CIA coverup in Kennedy assassination

According to the publisher of a new book, who appeared on Fox News Wednesday morning, the last living words of former President Gerald Ford fingered the CIA in the orchestration a cover-up of Kennedy's assassination.
Ford, who died late last year, was the longest surviving member of the Warren Commission, which investigated Kennedy's assassination. The new book, "A Presidential Legacy and the Warren Commission," was written by Ford before his death, its publisher claims.
"This book, actually authored by Gerald Ford, finally proves once and for all that the CIA, our government, did destroy do ents and cover-up many facts that day in Dallas," publisher Tim Miller told Fox & Friends Wednesday morning.
Kennedy was killed as his motorcade rolled through downtown Dallas Nov. 22, 1963. Officially seen as the work of a single shooter, Lee Harvey Oswald, the Kennedy assassination has sparked myriad conspiracy theories placing responsibility for the assassination on a variety of suspects, including the CIA, the Mafia or Cuban President Fidel Castro.
Although Miller was given little time to go into detail about the book on Wednesday morning's show, a press release gives more detail on the book, being published by Flat Signed publishers.
In the book, Ford argues that the CIA destroyed information about the assassination, but he "contends with interesting specificity that Oswald was the only shooter," Miller says.
"There was a conspiracy to kill John F. Kennedy," says Tim Miller, CEO of FlatSigned.com, in the release. "There is no doubt that President Gerald Ford knew more about the JFK death. There is no doubt President Clinton knows more. Has he or any other US President since November 22, 1963 ever swore under oath that they know no more?"

That's two stunning recent supposed death-bed confessions, of course, who could forget the infamous death-bed confession of E. Howard Hunt on Coast-to-Coast in 2004.... Little know fact ...H. W. Bush was in Dallas that day and working for the CIA. Kennedy is on record as wanting to break the CIA up into a thousand pieces. Plus Kennedy had already signed a directive that would have done away with the Federal Reserve Bank. That directive, obviously has never been implimented.

Huh? I've never really weighed in on the JFK assassination, but this doesn't seem to cons ute a smoking gun, does it?

Oh and I didn't know that JFK wanted to break up the CIA. So he took on the international bankers, the war machine, and the intelligence cartel? If only he had taked on some really powerful people; then we might need to ask some questions.[/sarcasm]

There was some interesting conversation on Coast to Coast AM just this night about the assassination, with the idea it was other dislike Kennedy wanting to work with the Soviets on the Moon landing. He and Nikita Khrushchev had agreements just before the Kennedy assassination, and Khrushchev shortly later was under house arrest for the rest of his life!It's surprising that the E. Still, I am one who doesn't believe the conspiracy. There is ample proof that Oswald acted alone.
As for the E. Howard Hunt tape, it is one man's words. Do we trust him, or is it just a story?

If you believe the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, against the World Trade Center and the Pentagon came without any specific warning, a new poll says the person on your left and the person on your right think you're wrong.
Almost two-thirds of Americans think it is possible some officials in the federal government had specific information about the pending attacks, but chose to ignore it and take no action to protect the country, according to a Scripps Howard News Service/Ohio University poll.
The national survey of more than 800 U.S. adults conducted by Scripps Survey Research Center at Ohio University echoes a similar one by the same organization in 2006 that found more than a third of Americans believing the U.S. government somehow assisted in the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, or else took no steps to stop them from occurring, so the Bush administration could launch a war in the Middle East...
While only 44 percent of respondents said it was "somewhat likely" or "very likely" some people in the federal government knew about the assassinaton of President Kennedy in advance, it surpassed the 40 percent who believed a government conspiracy was "not likely."
I thought the JFK numbers who be higher, and I'm surprised by the size of the 9/11 numbers.
