Directv vs. Dish Network

Making the switch from Grande at the beginning of the year, and can't decide between the two.

Who has which? Pros and cons?

We had a dish way back in the day, and I remember weather used to screw it up a LOT. Anybody have that issue?

I've always had DirecTV and swear by it. Others hate DirecTV with a passion. Truth be told, if the NFL ST was available through cable, I'd probably jump ship because the PQ is better with cable in my area.

And don't buy all the HD channel jargon. Most programming on those channels is just stretched/zoomed/cropped SD programming, not true HD.
