hi guys, thanks for the feedback on hotels. i'm definitely not going to stay near the at&t center. going to stay near the airport or seaworld

got a bunch of questions, and i'm probably asking things you can't answer......but no matter how small, any input is appreciated

    1) i see tickets are on sale tomorrow morning.....are they non-refundable? i'm asking because i can't tell when the games will be. i have no idea when the warriors/nuggets series will end. for example, if the warriors win tuesday, then does rd 2 gm1 happen on thursday? and if the series goes 6 does game 1 happen saturday? etc..... i'm worried that i'll buy tickets for game 1 and then not be able to make it till game 2, or possibly game 5

maybe i'm better off risking buying 2nd hand?

    2) is there a way to arrange a quick meet/handshake/photo with players before or after the game?

    3) i'm gonna stay 3-4 days, besides seaworld what's fun for a family with a 5 year old?

    4) speaking of seaworld, i'm mega-cheap and i'm thinking about buying a meal day pass but running back in line a bunch of times for the rest of the family. does anyone have experience with this, like, is the park uptight about this stuff?

    thanks again

The witte museum is always fun for kids, they have the dinosaur exhibit right now which is pretty cool. The Animatronics are awesome! And like you said Seaworld is always fun too, especially if your kid loves Sesame Street like mine do. Plus the new water park is awesome. I've never bought the meal pass so I'm not sure how strict they are on it, if you can't do that in one restaurant then go to multiple ones and get everyone something different.
Well good luck and enjoy your stay here

    1) Tickets for Games 1 and 2 are non-refundable. According to NBA.com the second round will not start any earlier than May 6th, but you won't know the exact dates before the end of GS-Den series. You may be better off buying your tickets on the secondary market. Once the tickets go on sale at Spurs.com you can compare the prices.

    Official NBA resale Market: http://www.ticketsnow.com/NBA/san-an...spurs-tickets/

    Stubhub: http://www.stubhub.com/san-antonio-s...layoff-tickets

If you buy tickets to games you can't attend, you can always recoup some of your money by posting them for sale at one of those two sites.

    2) As far as I know, you'll need to buy lower level seats and arrive early to have a chance at getting autographs before the game.

    3) Schlitterbahn in New Brauenfels. It's about 30 miles up I-35 from the AT&T center. You may even find some better hotel deals by staying off of I-35 between New Brauenfels and San Marcos (home to dozens of outlet stores). That would also put you closer to Austin. Southwest flies non-stop from Newark to Austin and JetBlue flies non-stop from JFK to Austin.

    4) Can't help you on that one. Back when my kids were that age and we were going to Disneyworld on a regular basis, we would make sure they were fed before entering the park and then plan a 2-3 hour break in the afternoon for food and naps. If your hotel is near the park, that's an option.

We brought sandwiches, chips, fruit and water in a small rolling cooler into the park. Another option would be one of those soft insulated cooler packs. That was two years ago. You might want to check to see if there are any restrictions. Also, bring a stroller, or rent an on-site stroller. With a 5 year old it's a must. You can rent the double stroller and use it to haul around your stuff. Have fun!
