just dont draft another ted ginn jr
As a dolphins fan this is about all I have to look forward to. I think they will draft either for DL or OL , but this is one of many holes on this team. Who do you think or what position would benefit the Dolphins the most?
Normally I'd say they don't need an RB and thus can pass on the best player in the draft (McFadden) but after seeing a two back system really work in Minnesota, I say they team DMac with Ronnie Brown. It will make Beck's life easier for forseeable future.
the pats will have a top 5 pick.... so just imagine the pats with a stud running back that they are gonna draft...
i'd imagine that they'd trade down
They already have a stud running back who never gets any carries because he doesnt need to
I don't care what kind of position players you need or don't need, how would any team pass up on Darren McFadden?
wasn't the same being said about reggie bush a couple years back?
My guess is a Brian Brohm or Chase Daniel
they definitely do
Laurence Maroney is a stud when he's healthy. I'd even say he's a top-5 back in the league when he's healthy. The problem is that he's never healthy.
The Patriots have succeeded without a stud RB before, so as much as I love McFadden I don't know if they should take him. They're so thin at LB that I bet they do indeed trade down. It sucks tho because I would love to see Tomlinson But Better in a Pats uni.
No !

Ladanian Tomlinson
Adrian Peterson
Brian Westbrook
Willie Parker
Steven Jackson
They are all unquestionably better.
And then you still have Frank Gore, Clinton Portis, Maurice Jones Drew, Rudi Johnson, Larry Johnson, Joseph Addai, Thomas Jones to argue with.
LT, Peterson, Jackson yes.
Westbrook? He's versatile but is a terrible between the tackles runner.
Willie Parker? Not even close.
Like I said, Laurence Maroney when healthy is as fast & strong a runner as ANYBODY in the league. he has the ability to dominate games with his running ability. he's just never healthy.
The Pats will draft James Laurinaitis if he comes out, you can bet your bottom dollar on that.
You have no clue what you are talking about to say that Westbrook is terrible between the tackles. Westbrook has become a very solid back at going between the tackles, and breaks tackles as well as anyone in the league. He may not be quite a strong as Maroney is between the tackles, but Maroney isn't nearly as versatile, and isn't a playmaker like Westbrook. Willie Parker is a monster, and far more versatile and quick than Maroney. About the only thing Maroney is great at is running hard. He's not particularly fast, quick, or a good playmaker. He's like a smaller, less talented Corey Dillon.
What the are you talking about? Have you even seen Maroney play beyond the 3 carries or whatever that he got in last year's AFC championship game? The dude runs a 4.4 forty. He's got speed and power and great hands, he just gets hurt all the time. Seriously, did you just pull that "Maroney isn't fast" bull straight out of your ass? There's no basis for that whatsoever.
@ laurence jabroney being called a top 5 back... get the outta here.... if laurence maroney is a top 5 back, get me some mother ing pads and hand the rock off to me!
Do you even watch football?
And where is your basis for saying that Westbrook is a terrible between the tackles runner and that Parker "isn't even close"???
And my talking about his speed was in comparison to guys like Westbrook and Parker, whom are both faster and quicker backs. They are better recievers. They are better playmakers.
typical bandwagon pats fan.... don't know about football, just talking out his ass..... were you a niner fan in the 80s and a cowboy fan in the 90s?
