It was just a matter of time...hopefully people don't over-react. It happens in most violent sports at some point. I have a feeling if it was in the UFC it'd be the end of MMA...still don't get why boxing gets a pass on all of it's deaths...

the other was in Europe and was attributed to a pre-existing medical condition. He wasn't cleared to fight due to a heart condition or something...

I always thought when it was going to happen it was going to happen in PRIDE. Those foot stomps...all it would take is one of those stomps to hit a throat.
