TO has to remind you that he is an unstable man. Meshawn gives Parcells credit (probably correctly) for helping to build the Cowboys roster and team, and TO takes that as a personal attack on himself and goes back and forth between ranting against giving parcells any credit and that keshawn isn't good enough to take his spot now.

if he didn't have the mentality of an 8 year old, you'd have to be seriously worried about the guy.

to his credit, he lasted alot longer than I ever thought in Dallas. this is the beginning of the end.

next game where Romo goes to witten all day and barely looks TO's way, and there will be a huge blowup - guaranteed.

All TO did was give Wade Phillips credit this year for the way he has coached this team up, Meshawn being the Fat Tuna's side kick took this as a jab at fatty and called TO out. Fat Tuna had the same team as Phillips has right now, and Phillips is making Tuna look like he is Dave Campo.

It was just weird how he took a normal statement (like it or not, most of your key players were acquired by the Tuna), and made it very personal with Meshawn.

Obviously, Meshawn is stuck to Tuna's sack, but that doesn't mean he was wrong.

I don't agree that it's a signal of the beginning of the end of him in dallas. Just another reminder that he has an 8 year old's brain in a 30 year old's body.

I didn't see anything wrong with this...its extremely mild especially where TO is concerned.

Give me a break... Parcells disrespected T.O. all last year by not calling him by his name. He has no reason to show Parcells respect now

I love the team Parcells built, but he did disrespect T.O. last year. I think T.O. has handled himself very well. And I like Key but he needs to quite going after T.O. like he has this season on NFL Sunday Countdown He is obviously still upset Dallas chose T.O. I have no problem with T.O. going after Key.

There has already been a few of those games face. T.O. seems fine to me. I think he understands that its not smart for Romo to throw in triple coverage face.

Ahhh, classic TO. Key (who sucks), makes a comment that Parcells deserves credit for this years Cowboys success.

TO responds by challenging Key to come to Dallas and take his job. He also pointed out that they were drafted the same season and only TO is playing.

This wasn't even about TO, yet he decided it was.

TO is an absolute piece of selfish trash. Having said that, he's also un ing believable at his craft............even though he drops a lot of easy balls.

maybe a method to that madness? notice that TO spent last year getting bitter towards the Tuna......and not Romo or his teammates.

Your right it was Tuna that brought all his guys in like Bledsoe and others drafted his guys Spears and Bobby Carpenter. The Cowboys would no way be 12-1 if Tuna was still in charge.

    1. Sean Payton brought Romo to Dallas

    2. David Lee nurtured Romo

    3. When Jeff Ireland became VP of pro and college scouting in '05 Dallas drafts almost immediately became better. Coincidence? Maybe but I highly doubt it.

    4. Parcells wanted to pass on Ware at 11 for Spears.

    5. Parcells was the reason they drafted Carpenter (Rob Carpenter's son), Rogers, and Peterman.

Parcells did a pretty good job assembling talent and putting the team together. Wade has done an excellent job coaching the team and being the task master that lets everyone else do their job. Keyshawn is just plain annoying and is only on TV because someone at ESPN thinks his mouth is good for ratings. TO is an idiot and shouldn't have even responded to anything that people in the press said. He has done a good job this year of avoiding the media and the goading that goes on, but now is not the time to start listening to anything they say.

Romo is a badass. I know he wasn't in this argument, but it still needed mentioning.

Since those are the only players of note on the team. Newman, Ware, TO, Whitten, and more than half the rest of the roster came in under his watch.

You can minimalize his contributions all you want, but the fact of the matter is that he was calling the shots when the vast majority of this talent was assembled.

He was calling the shots and he never got this type of production out of them. What does that say about everybody's football Jesus?

If anything I don't see this as the beginning of the end, for the first time in his career he stuck up for his coach. He said it was not about giving parcells credit or not giving parcells credit, He said people should give wade credit. To me it appears that for the first time in his career he is actually concerned about someone else.

I also think the stuff about keyshawn was the last two years of Keyshawn bashing him coming out. Again what he said was uncalled for but true, he is the reason Keyshawn is in the booth, Keyshawns stats don't compare to TO's, and he actually challenged him once to make the team, he said that Key would not even be a 3rd or 4th receiver on this team.

He also said that there have been games that the coverage witten drew was allowing him to go off and vice versa. He said that they pride themselves on being able to create mismatches for the each other.

He spoke of how he was excited that Glenn might be coming back because everyone knows what Glenn can do and that he would exploit matches just like all the other guys on the offense have done this year, as well as take some of the pressure off of him.

But yea it sure sounds like the beginning of the end for him in Dallas.

He also called jerry rice the best receiver to play the game and spoke of how honered he was to get to play with him, what an asshole statement that was.

I agree parcells came in and did what they paid him to do, build a solid team and get the franchise back on track. He did that and did a great job and all Cowboys fan should be greatful to parcells for doing that. However he was a to TO and clearly did not care for him, so the last person I would expect to give him credit would be TO.

i don't think anybody's arguing that phillips hasn't done a better job with this group. but parcells the administrator played a large role in your team, even if parcells the coach wasn't equal to the task.

people are forgetting how bare the pantry was when parcells arrived. parcells deserves a lot of credit for assembling the roster. whether his manner wore on the players after a few years wasn't the issue.

I just saw the clip on ESPN, and even though I think T.O. was a little out of line and Key was pretty much right with everything he said... man did T.O. own Key's ass.

In addition to drafting Newman, Ware, and Witten, Parcells also drafted Julius and Barber, Patrick Crayton, Bradie James, Chris Canty and our special teams ace, Keith Davis. Brought in Anthony Henry and Ferguson. Players who really contribute the teams success this year. Parcells also made Gurode into a pro-bowl player, got Columbo and Koiser on the team. And lets not forget Romo. Even if Sean Payton found him, Parcells kept him on the team each season, coached him up, got on his ass, and look what we have now.

I don't think many non-cowboy fans are missing Irvin much. He never gave you any insight that an average football fan couldn't have told you. His goal was just to be louder than everybody else and yell 'da u'! (admittedly that's par for the course with most studio shows)
