Did anyone see it yet? I thought it was going to be good, and I didn't know it was a CGI (I guess I didn't pay enough attention to the commercials) but um, I don't recommend it. The movie was a major letdown.

Well it was a CGI so it's not exactly like seeing her naked but kinda, except there is gold covering her nips.
Also, Beowulf fights Grendel bare ass naked.
Did you watch it in IMAX 3d?
Haven't seen it but, I figured it would be a let down. How was Crispin Glover (George McFly) as the voice of Grendel? I hear they butchered the original story?

It's terrible that the movie isn't good; it will sour a generation on reading the story, which is among the greatest ever written.
That's why I'm not seeing it.
I was really hyped about seeing this movie for a while. Untill i started seeing some of the later trailers which totaly ruined it for me. the CGI looked ridiculous I will avoid watching this movie completely i think now...The last trailer trying to rip off 300 did it for me...

Anyway - it wasn't the greatest movie ever and they do deviate from the story quite a bit, but it wasn't bad by any means. And well worth seeing it in 3d simply for the visuals.
Like I said I heard it it was a ty movie. I'm not going to call it terrible without even seeing it, I'm just saying what I heard.
I saw it last night... I thought it was OK. It didnt suck but it wasnt great either.
I saw the movie yesterday and thought it was real good. It all depends on the type of movie you like. Some people will let the cgi get in the way. In other words they spend to much time criticizing the graphics instead of just enjoying the movie.
To everyone who said it sucks in this thread---did you see it in 3D?

I probably would've liked it more if I was stoned, but the movie as whole was just ing gay. It was a huge disappointment.
I was only a little buzzed on vodka and no thc in the blood stream, still loved it
